Does it work ?
Antioxidants are substances that protect your cells against free radicals, which play a role in Alzheimer's disease, cancers and other diseases. Free radicals are molecules produced when you're exposed to oxidative stress, tobacco smoke, radiation, etc.
Antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E and carotenoids, may help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Plant-based foods are the best sources. These include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices, and even cocoa.
This antioxidants (TAC) blood test has shown to be useful in protecting our body from harmful free radicals. It is highly recommended to take antioxidants-rich foods (blueberries etc.) when the levels of antioxidants (TAC) are relatively low compared to free radicals levels.
